Under the artistic direction of Anna Sapozhnikov, MOYAMO DANCE exists and operates as a collaborative company comprised of choreographers and dancers from around the country. Our development as artists continue to grow through our curiosity and willingness to create work that we believe is socially and artistically significant. The company's past and current areas of interest include our fascination with feminist ideas and themes, which have led to the production of works based on topics such as women at work and play, the depiction of women throughout history and media, and women who have dealt with breast cancer in their lives and communities.
