Elizabeth Johnson attended high school at the North Carolina School of the Arts, holds her BFA in dance from George Mason University, and her MFA in dance from the University of Illinois, Champaign. She also holds a GLCMA Certificate in Laban Movement Analysis from Columbia College Chicago. Her choreography has been seen in New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Louisville, New Haven, Champaign, and has been selected for Gala Performance at the American College Dance Festival. Ms. Johnson dances with -David Parker & the Bang Group-, -Sara Hook Dances-, and -Molly Ribinowitz Liquid Grip-. She has served on dance faculty at the University of Illinois and currently teaches at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and is Artistic Director of her company, -Your Mother Dances-.
