ERIKA RANDALL
Erika Randall is a freelance artist, teacher and choreographer who currently performs with Sara Hook Dances/David Parker and the Bang Group. She formed the Columbus Movement (cm2) whose mission is to support the development and visibility of contemporary dance artists in Columbus, Ohio, and is also a founding member of the Seattle born company Cava-Parker Dance whose new home is in Puebla, Mexico. In addition she has performed with the Mark Morris Dance Group and Buglisi/Foreman Dance. Her choreography has been performed in Florida, Ohio, California, New Hampshire, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Missouri, Washington, and New York. Her multi- media work has been shown at the Digital Cabaret Technology Conference in Urbana, Illinois and at the Underground Theatre and the Leo Kreielsheimer Theatre, both in Seattle. She has been a solo performer in concert venues and numerous dance for the camera projects.

She was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois for 3 years and a Guest lecturer at OSU. Ms. Randall has been on summer faculty at the Interlochen Arts Camp for 8 years and has been a frequent guest artist at the Interlochen Arts Academy. She has been on the faculties of many private studios in Ohio and Washington and has offered master classes at University of Illinois, the National High School Dance Festival in Miami, at ACDFA at the University of Iowa and Iowa State, and for Dance Kaleidoscope in Indianapolis. Her lecture-demonstrations include: elementary education in Sarasota, Florida; a panel discussion on feminism in Puebla, Mexico; choreography for Wexner Center Family Day in Columbus, Ohio; and feminist theory in relation to Martha Graham at the University of Washington. Erika is currently on dance faculty at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
